As part of our longstanding commitment to support IT professionals who prefer — or in some cases insist! — on using Linux, we are pleased to announce that Remote Desktop Manager for Linux is now available on Flathub.
What Is Flathub?
Flathub, which is Flatpack powered, is a great platform to easily access, install, and update Linux applications. All you need to run or install RDM is a simple command line. For a deeper dive into why Flathub is useful and popular, check out this interesting article over at while-true-do.io.
Get Started
You can get started by visiting the RDM page on Flathub, and selecting your edition: Enterprise or Free. If you’re new to Flathub, then we recommend spending a little time to learn how it works. Configuring Flatpak is fairly easy, but differs depending on your distro. Click here for setup instructions.
Looking Ahead
Supporting our growing number of Linux users remains a priority. We will continue to enhance RDM for Linux, and port as many Windows features as possible.
