Hello RDMers!
Over the last few weeks, we’ve been announcing a lot of new product launches – and things have been pretty crazy around here (but in a good way!).
Well, one of the “updates” that we’ve been really eager to tell you about has finally arrived: **we’ve moved into our cool new office! **
More Connections
But the most exciting thing about our new digs, is that the open configuration allows us to all work together. Yes, for efficiency and productivity (and sanity!), our teams are still co-located, such as our sales team, marketing team, development team, administrative team, and so on.
But in the broader sense, we’re all sharing the same overall space – which is what we’ve really been looking forward to. It really enhances teamwork, plus it allows us to connect with each other on a daily basis -- even if it’s just to say “hi there” or “did you see the crazy hockey game last night?” Sometimes, it’s the simple, informal interactions that make a big difference.
The Future is NOW
And guess what? I was doing a bit of research online, and it turns out that our new “open office” configuration is actually what some pundits predict ALL offices will look like in the future! Here’s a quote from a great article on Mashable.com:
“The office of the future needs to cultivate an environment where people want to be and use design to create spaces where people can work together and be happy, productive and profitable”.
Well, we’ve always strived to make Remote Desktop Manager ahead of its time, so I guess it makes sense that our new space is on the leading edge, too!
It’s All About YOU
Ultimately, moving into our new office isn’t about us: it’s about YOU! That’s because our goal here is the same as it was way back when Devolutions was born in (believe it or not) our CEO David’s basement: to help IT pros and teams become more efficient by delivering professional, low cost, easy-to-use management tools backed by a world-class support team.
