Microsoft’s TechEd 2014, Here we Come!

Hi everyone,

Here at Devolutions, we’re really excited because once again we’ll be exhibiting our product line in Houston, Texas at Microsoft TechEd 2014 in May 12-15, 2014. And guess what? I just checked their website and the event is SOLD OUT!

This will be our third time exhibiting at TechEd, and we couldn’t be happier to go back because in the past we’ve REALLY had blast and enjoyed lots of success. And of course, we wouldn’t miss the opportunity to meet some cool Remote Desktop Manager users and other IT pros from around the world! TechEd Twitter Tips

Whether you’re getting ready to take off for TechEd in Houston or you’ll be keeping an eye on things from where you are, Twitter is the tool of choice if you want to know what’s going on during the whole week. Twitter is a powerful way to instantly reach numerous users, and it’s especially helpful for large events. In a way, Twitter becomes a sort of community within a community.

So with that in mind, here are some helpful Twitter TechEd tips:

Follow the official TechEd Twitter feed (@TechEd_NA) for official news and announcements during the week. Plus, you can ask questions and get a rapid responses. The official TechEd Twitter hashtag is#msTechEd. Connect with the "Twitter Army" from myITforum.com (@myitforum). Last year in New Orleans and the year before in Orlando, these great volunteer Tweeters helped us discover what was going on at all times. Even if you're not heading to Houston, you should still follow them to access great content. Follow an awesome networking group who rocks TechEd each year: The Krewe (@TheKrewe). They’ll be Tweeting about special events, parties and other activities. Make sure to follow hashtag #thekrewe to receive all updates. And of course, don’t forget to follow us at @remotedeskman. We’ll be Tweeting about our experiences, what we’re doing, and where to find us. You can also follow David our CEO (@dhervieux) and me (@Max_Trottier)

Come and meet us

If you plan on attending the event, please make sure that you drop by our booth 426– we’d love to meet you! In addition to meeting David, Max and Melissa, you can chat with the friendly experts who make the RDM magic happen, including Maurice our product manager and Stefane our CTO. We’ll be conducting live demos, giving away very cool gifts (we’ll be blogging about this tomorrow!), and we'll release Remote Desktop Manager 9.5 along with the official launch of Remote Desktop Manager Jump Beta.

Also, if you’ve been to TechEd before, please share your advice on what IT pros should do – or shouldn’t do – to get the most out of the event. And if you’ve never been to TechEd, be sure to check out these 6 tips to help you get the most out of TechEd.

Cheers,
