Hi everyone! You might already know of a pretty awesome tool called Chocolatey, which lets you quickly install Windows applications from the command line via a catalog of installation scripts. For instance, when installing a new app or tool, all you need to do is type in one line -- and Chocolatey takes care of the rest! This is especially handy if you’re installing several app/tools on multiple machines. Not surprisingly, Chocolaty was named as one of the “Big 10 Life and Work Changing Utilities” by Scott Hanselman in 2014 Ultimate Developer and Power Users Tool List for Windows. And now, we’re happy to announce that we’ve created Chocolatey installation package for Remote Desktop Manager! So that means once you download Chocolatey, you can install: Remote Desktop Manager by typing cinst rdm at the command line For more information, please visit: - Remote Desktop Manager: https://chocolatey.org/packages/rdm More to Come And guess what? The awesomeness doesn’t stop here! We’re planning on integrating Chocolatey DIRECTLY into Remote Desktop Manager. This will let you launch command lines and install new tools on multiples machines without ever leaving the cozy confines of Remote Desktop Manager. Imagine how much time you’ll save -- the possibilities are endless… Plus, we did some research and discovered that we’re one of the few companies that are really embracing Chocolatey and taking it to another level. We believe that Chocolatey will become an industry standard, and every IT pro will want it in his or her toolbox. That’s why we plan on supporting it, so that you’ll always have the latest version and enjoy the time-saving benefits. And last but certainly not least, we’d like to thank Janssen Jones, one of the valued members of our amazing community, for helping us with this project and building the installation packages. You rock Janssen!
