Hello! My name is Laurence Cadieux, and I’m a Communication Coordinnator here at Devolutions. My role includes overseeing the content strategy and development of our blog, managing the content and communication for our VIP advocate platform “Devolutions Force,” and working closely with our PR partners around the world. I also handle our off-site content opportunities (magazines, journals, newspapers, etc.). Academically, I have a bachelor’s degree in marketing. When I’m not working, I sing in a band, and I enjoy watching my favorite movies again and again. I also love cooking, and during the pandemic, I became a bread expert — I can now bake the most amazing key lime pie on earth (if I do say so myself!). Season’s Greetings from the Devolutions Team!

The holidays allow us to take a little break from our busy lives, and reflect on the special people who mean so much to us: YOU, the amazing members of our global community!

We have said it before, and we will say it again (since the truth never goes out of style): we exist because of you, and never take your loyalty for granted. We know that you have options, so the fact that you choose and trust us means the world to us.

If there were a single word that captures the essence of what we are trying to say, it would be “connection.” Through our solutions, and via our communication channels like our blog and forum, we feel a deep and authentic sense of connection with every member of the community. We are in this together and honored to be part of your journey.

And speaking of fun…

Just like any good team, we have uniforms — at least, we do during the holidays. And by uniforms, we mean UGLY CHRISTMAS SWEATERS.

Recently, a few of us donned our unsavory holiday garb, and gathered together at Devolutions HQ for a group photo. You can really sense the love, the friendship, the gratitude… and the shame of committing such blatant fashion crimes (although as the Sysadminotaur crew just pointed out, one person’s trash may be another person’s treasure!).
