Coralie Lemasson

Greetings! I’m Coralie, a Writer and Editor for Devolutions. As such, I create positive, personalized experiences for the Devolutions community by seasoning content with empathy, synergy, and goodwill. During office hours, you’ll find me on the Devolutions Blog, the Force, and social media. Though formally trained as an English teacher, I’m a wordsmith by trade. English is just one of my muses among others, namely art and beauty. I enjoy painting, listening to music, and cooking unconventional dishes. My dream is to publish my novels one day: but in the interim, I like to procrastinate by traveling abroad, strolling through IKEA, discovering coffee shops, watching architectural shows on YouTube, and playing with my sweet Canadian horse, Arrakis.

Update on Our French-Language Social Media Accounts

Summary

Devolutions will be deactivating its French X and Facebook accounts on September 30th. Followers of these accounts are invited to follow Devolutions' official X and Facebook accounts, where both English and French content will be delivered starting in October.

Devolutions is proud to serve and support many users here in Quebec and across the world who communicate, or prefer to communicate, in French. To that end, we have maintained official French-language X (formerly Twitter) and Facebook accounts, in addition to our English-language accounts.

At this time, we have decided to consolidate our social media accounts. Starting in October we will provide both English and French-language communications through a single official Devolutions X account, and single official Devolutions Facebook account. Consequently, our French-language X and Facebook accounts will be deactivated on September 30.

Please let us reiterate that this does not mean that we will no longer provide social media communications in French. Rather, it means that both French and English communications will be delivered through one channel per platform.

Why Are We Doing This?

On occasion, we have heard from French-speaking users who were not aware that we even had French versions of our accounts — simply because most companies do not. By consolidating our social media accounts, we can eliminate this source of confusion for our current and future French-speaking followers.

Next Steps

As mentioned above, our French-language X and Facebook accounts will be deactivated on September 30. We gladly invite our French-speaking social media followers to join us at:

Rest assured that our commitment to engaging with our French-speaking users remains as strong as ever!
