Hello! My name is Laurence Cadieux, and I’m a Communication Coordinnator here at Devolutions. My role includes overseeing the content strategy and development of our blog, managing the content and communication for our VIP advocate platform “Devolutions Force,” and working closely with our PR partners around the world. I also handle our off-site content opportunities (magazines, journals, newspapers, etc.). Academically, I have a bachelor’s degree in marketing. When I’m not working, I sing in a band, and I enjoy watching my favorite movies again and again. I also love cooking, and during the pandemic, I became a bread expert — I can now bake the most amazing key lime pie on earth (if I do say so myself!). August Poll Question: Thoughts on Twitter (“X”) and Threads?

Summary

This month, Devolutions wants to know: what is your view of Twitter/X, and what is your view of Meta’s new Threads, which is integrated with Instagram?

Recently, our monthly poll questions have asked you to project into the future or reflect on the past. Now, we would like you to focus on the present and share your views on two social media giants: one that is well established (but with a new name), and one that just arrived on the scene. Of course, we are talking about Twitter/X and Threads.

There are two parts to the poll question:

  • What is your view of Twitter/X? Do you like or dislike the changes (not just to the name, but to the platform itself)? Have you adjusted your usage in recent months? If so, how? And what advice would you give Elon Musk?
  • What is your view of Meta’s new Threads, which is integrated with Instagram? If you’re using it, what is your opinion? If you aren’t using it, do you think that you might in the future? And what advice would you give Mark Zuckerberg?
