Recap of Devolutions Central 2022

Devolutions Central Online 2022 was an absolute hit! Filled to the brim with security talks, product discovery tours, questions from the audience, and more, this virtual gathering on December 7 surpassed our expectations. Our team had such a blast — we just can't wait to do it all over again!

As Devolutions’ Product Marketing Specialist my role consist in staying up-to-date with the latest updates made to our software to create weekly technical blogs and tutorial videos to keep our clients informed. I am also in charge of the creation and overall successful organization of marketing events and trade-shows. Devolutions Central Online 2022 by the Numbers

  • 324: the number of people from around the world who registered for Devolutions Central Online 2022.
  • 154: the number of messages that attendees sent during Devolutions Central Online 2022.
  • 8.7: the aggregate rating from attendees on a scale of 1-10 on whether they thought Devolutions Central Online 2022 was a success.

We know how valuable and limited time is — especially in the IT landscape — and we are grateful and inspired by these results (especially the last one!).

Where’s Max?

You’ve heard of Where’s Waldo? Well, Devolutions Central 2022 kicked off with a panicked Yann racing through Devolutions’ offices asking: "WHERE’S MAX?"

The Agenda

  • Our VP of Sales and Marketing Max Trottier (who decided to pause his pro-golf aspirations) delivered the Opening Statement and kicked off Devolutions Central 2022!
  • Our VP of Business Solutions Maurice Côté talked about how Devolutions Server can elevate an organization’s security posture.
  • Our CEO David Hervieux teamed up with Max to discuss Remote Desktop Manager, and reveal some special features that we have planned for 2023.
  • Our Product Developer Maxime Morin explored why a password manager is a great tool to keep credentials safe. He also provided a hands-on demonstration of Password Hub Business.
  • Maurice came back on stage to discuss what’s coming on the horizon for Devolutions Server.
  • Our CSO Martin Lemay and Security Product Manager Sebastien Duquette teamed up to explore the security dynamics of our products.
  • The dynamic duo of David and Max returned for a fun and interesting Q&A session.
  • We wrapped things up — and laughed until it hurt — with an unforgettable performance by comedian Greg Morton.

Changes in 2022

For the past two years, Devolutions Central (both in-person and online) was a full-day event. This year we went to a half-day format, in order to make it easier for people to attend. Overall, we received positive feedback about this change!
