What is Sysadminotaur, Anyway?
If you’re new to Devolutions and wondering what all of the Sysadminotaur buzz is about, then here’s a recap for you:
Launched in 2012 by a partnership between Devolutions and Patrick Désilets, Sysadminotaur is an original newspaper-style comic strip created exclusively for the Devolutions community. It takes a witty — but always family-friendly and work-safe! — look at life in a fictitious company featuring a unique cast of characters. It’s always funny (like #84 Job Titles), frequently astute (like #85 Problem Solving), and at times profound (like #111 Lucky Number 0b111).
From its humble beginnings nearly a decade ago, Sysadminotaur has become a global phenomenon with fans in hundreds of countries. Plus, the comic’s signature design style and cast of characters are now fully integrated into Devolutions’ branding (for example, you’ll see Maurice proudly promoting Remote Desktop Manager!).
If you haven’t yet discovered Sysadminotaur, then trust us: you’ll be LOLing on a regular basis (so maybe don’t read them while in a serious meeting). Also, you’ll also be experiencing MANY “wow, this is so realistic, did they base this comic on my workplace?” moments.
About the New Website
