You may recall that in November, we posted a large list of must-have IT tools. The list was curated using submissions we received to one of our most popular polls ever, in which we asked you to share the tools that you couldn’t imagine working without.

Tools, Glorious Tools!

Well guess what? Since last year, we’ve received even MORE input from IT pros around the world, and the list has grown from about 50 must-have IT tools to 100! Is that awesome or what? Here’s the mega list:

Antivirus and Anti-Malware Software
Bootable Utilities
Backup Software
Community and IT Sources of Information
System Utilities
Mobile Apps
Microsoft Management Tools
Network Monitoring and Management Tools
Password Management
Remote Desktop and Remote Control Software
Text Editor and Development
We Can’t Stop

The Chainsmokers aren’t the only people who can’t stop – because we figure the only thing better than a list of 100 must-have IT tools is a list of 150 must-have IT tools (or maybe 200? 300?)

But to get there, we need your help. Yes, our list is comprehensive. But we know it’s not complete. There are still some amazing IT tools out there that we want to highlight. Please join our noble cause by adding your input below.

ALSO – if you think that an IT tool on our list shouldn’t qualify as a must-have – maybe because you’ve used something better, or you had a terrible experience with it, or it’s notoriously unsafe or buggy – then please let us know as well. We’ll take your advice under consideration!
