As Devolutions’ marketing coordinator, I’m in charge of the company’s social media and advertising portfolios. I’m also responsible for establishing, maintaining and developing relationships within and beyond the Remote Desktop Manager community. I’m also in charge of the Devolutions blog, which means that I’ll be writing about various topics that, I hope, will be interesting and relevant to community members like you.

Remote Desktop Manager Localizer

Have You Met Devolutions Localizer?

Hi RDMers, As you may know, Devolutions has customers on 6 continents (we’re still waiting for our first customer in Antarctica, but penguins don’t seem to want to tame the IT chaos in their icy world).

As part of our commitment to helping IT pros across the planet, a few years ago, we created our very own translation app called Devolutions Localizer. It replaced the beloved but defunct Amanuens software localization platform.

So far, with help from several generous and talented members of our community, RDM has been translated from English and French into the following languages (listed in alphabetical order):

  • Chinese
  • Dutch
  • German
  • Italian
  • Polish
  • Russian
  • Swedish
  • Traditional Taiwan Chinese
  • Ukrainian

While we’re thrilled with the progress to date, we know that there’s more work to do. And that’s where we’re hoping that YOU can help. We're specifically looking for the Spanish translation of Remote Desktop Manager. We will award the most valuable contributor with $500 and an RDM Enterprise License, plus a special mention on our blog.

If you’re interested in helping your fellow IT pros around the world, please sign up to be one of our wonderful translators. Our Localizer app makes the process very efficient, and you can work at your own pace, and whenever you have time (i.e. when you aren’t reading Sysadminotaur). You can join our team and get started by signing up here: https://devolutions.net/Home/Contribute Thanks!
