Hello! My name is Laurence Cadieux, and I’m a Communication Coordinnator here at Devolutions. My role includes overseeing the content strategy and development of our blog, managing the content and communication for our VIP advocate platform “Devolutions Force,” and working closely with our PR partners around the world. I also handle our off-site content opportunities (magazines, journals, newspapers, etc.). Academically, I have a bachelor’s degree in marketing. When I’m not working, I sing in a band, and I enjoy watching my favorite movies again and again. I also love cooking, and during the pandemic, I became a bread expert — I can now bake the most amazing key lime pie on earth (if I do say so myself!). According to the folks at Disney “When you wish upon a star, Makes no difference who you are, Anything your heart desires, Will come to you.”

Well, last month here in our festive magic kingdom (alas, we don’t have a Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, but we DO have six foosball tables!), we asked you to tell us what is on your Devolutions wish list this year.

Let’s take a look at your wishes, which we grouped into three categories: Products, Content, and Fun (wishes that were mentioned more than once have an asterisk).

Increase the performance in huge vaults (+10k entries)
Simplify the upgrade process with Devolutions Server and RDM
Create a custom dashboard option to add or re-arrange elements on it
Enhance RDM development (SSH, RDP, tabbed)*

Turning Wishes into Reality

Ah, if we had a wish-granting fairy on staff, we would simply ask her to make everyone’s dreams come true (and while she was at it, we would love another golf simulator just for Max!).

However, we have the next best thing, which is a bunch of REALLY smart team members who love two things: making things better, and making customers happy. And so, over the next few weeks we’ll be discussing and debating your wishes, and seeing what we can turn into reality. Stay tuned… and while you’re at it, maybe create some space on your desk for a plushie (that’s all we’ll say about that right now!).
