About Password Hub Business
Before we dive into the new and improved features, please allow me to take a moment to highlight Password Hub Business for those who are new:
Password Hub Business is our secure cloud-based password manager for teams. It empowers organizations to easily and securely vault and manage business-user passwords — along with other sensitive information like building alarm codes, software license keys, corporate credit card numbers, etc. — through a user-friendly web interface that can be quickly, easily, and securely accessed via any browser. And unlike many other enterprise-grade password management solutions, Password Hub Business is very affordable for small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs). What’s more, Password Hub Business is also a cloud data source in Remote Desktop Manager.
Simply put, Password Hub Business is the perfect balance of security and usability. A free 30-day trial is available.

What’s New in PHB: A Deeper Look
Password Hub Business 2022.3 offers some key additions, which are designed to improve usability and functionality. Let’s take a deeper look at what’s new:
Added Sub-Menu to Centralize Vault Settings
In Password Hub Business 2022.3, you will now find a handy new sub-menu that centralizes multiple vault settings, including:
- Set Vault as Default
- Set Vault as Favorite
- Edit Vault
- Add a New Vault
Instead of always having to go into the Admin vault to modify these settings, you can now take care of everything quickly and easily from the new sub-menu. Also, to ensure security, these options are only available to users who have the necessary permissions.
Sync with Azure User & User Group
This is yet another great new feature that was requested by our amazing users! Password Hub Business 2022.3 now syncs with Azure user group for single-sign on (SSO). Please note that SSO is not the only authentication option. You can also sync between Azure and your organization’s portal. To configure and activate the sync, please contact us.
Added Report: Temporary Access Request List Per Vault & Status
We have created a new report that provides a history of all Temporary Access requests per vault, along with the status of each request.
What’s Improved in PHB: A Deeper Look
We have also made some notable improvements in Password Hub Business 2022.3:
More Copy Options in Password List Entry
Previous versions of Password Hub Business featured the option to “copy password” and “copy username” (in the password list entry). Some users reached out and asked if we could also add “copy host” and “copy domain.” You ask, we deliver: you will now find these options in version 2022.3!
Set Priority Sorting Display
You can now prioritize specific entries, so they appear first on your list vs. displayed alphabetically (if you also use RDM then this handy feature will be familiar to you!).
To prioritize your entries, go to Properties —> User Interface, and give each entry a numerical value starting with 0 (lowest priority).
Advanced Search Option
Previously in Password Hub Business, if you performed a search then the query would be limited to the entry name. Now in version 2022.3, you can conduct an advanced search for a keyword or phrase that scans all fields. This increases the likelihood that you will quickly and easily find what you need!
Integrations
As mentioned earlier, recently I looked closer at some of the exciting new integrations in Devolutions Hub Business 2022.3, which include:
- Added Markdown WYSIWYG Documentation Editor
- Reinvented Sub-Entries (formerly known as Sub-Connections) as a fully-functioning entry type that supports attachments and documentation
- Improved Devolutions Workspace functionality
- Simplified licensing process
Please check out this article to learn more about how these integrations enable you to combine multiple Devolutions’ products to improve security, functionality, visibility, efficiency, productivity, compliance, ease-of-use, and affordability.
Tell Us What You Think
As you have just seen, several new and improved features in Password Hub Business are the direct result of feedback from the most important people in our world: YOU, our global user community.
Sure, we have some really (and I mean really) smart people around here who have a solid idea of what we need to add, change, remove, or re-invent to make Password Hub Business even better. But without question, what matters most is what YOU think.
Let me put it this way: sometimes we purchase a solution from a company, and we don’t bother giving them our feedback because we have no belief that they will actually consider it. Heck, we doubt they will even read it. We figure that our advice will just go to some unmonitored inbox.
Devolutions is the opposite of this! We love hearing back from our users — from those who are brand new to our solutions, to those who have been part of the community for more than a decade. And I promise you that our teams carefully review EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF USER FEEDBACK (and then we have long discussions and debates about them — there is a lot of passion, and a lot of pizza).
I guess what I’m trying to say is: we’re always listening to you! Share your views by commenting below, posting in our forum (don’t be surprised if our CEO David responds to you within hours or minutes — he loves the forum), or by contacting our Support Team directly.
