Hello RDMers, By now, you’ve hopefully heard – and even better, have hopefully used – Remote Desktop Manager for Android, which we officially launched last week for Android. If you haven’t yet downloaded the app yet, here’s where you’ll find it:
This app is completely FREE! Please note that you’ll need an Enterprise license if you wish to connect to your centralized database.
WHAT’S IN STORE
As you might expect, our amazing Android Team Leader Nicolas started working on updates and improvements about an hour after launch. I asked Nic if he’d share some of what he’s working on, and here’s what he said is coming down the pipeline in the next version:
- Multiple new modes (e.g. Touchpad for RDP, VNC, ARD and more).
- New and enhanced help options and content.
- Multiple new session options (e.g. SSH Shell, SSH Tunnel, SSH Port Forwarding, Telnet, and more).
Nic also added that these are just some of the highlights – he has plenty going on in his magical and mysterious RDM for Android Lab.
SEND US YOUR FEEDBACK
As you’d expect, most of the updates and improvements we’ll be making for RDM for Android are the result of feedback from our wonderful, smart community of IT Pros – a.k.a. YOU.
So please let us know what you think by posting in our Forum. Be assured that Nic and the rest of our development team review ALL feedback, and we really depend on you to help us make our solutions even better. We’re always listening!
