This blog announces the release of Devolutions’ 2025.2 updates, highlighting new features across all products with a video walkthrough and a call for user feedback.

Steven Lafortune

Hello! I'm Steven Lafortune—Devolutions' communication maestro by day, riff-slaying guitarist by night, and the ultimate hockey play-by-play guy in between. When I'm not rescuing Hyrule in The Legend of Zelda or watching the extended Lord of the Rings trilogy for the 235,476th time, you’ll probably find me rocking out at a show. Quick-witted, always up for a laugh, and full of fresh ideas, I bring the same energy to my work as I do to the stage!

The big news here at Devolutions is that the 2025.2 updates are now available across our entire product line, including:

While some of the changes are about what happens behind the scenes and relate to architecture and performance, the majority are designed to improve user flexibility and productivity.

New video

We asked our Product Marketing Advisor, Yann, to create a video tour of what’s new across the 2025.2 updates — and as usual, he delivered with both substance and style! Below are some of the user-facing new additions that Yann covered:

Remote Desktop Manager

  • New Support One Identity Safeguard for privileged sessions directly in credential entries.

  • New SQL Server management directly in RDM without having to install SSMS.

  • New Revamped SFTP session using Avalonia framework to support drag-and-drop functionality and improved stability.

  • New Privilege elevation and delegation management functionality to elevate specific processes for users through controlled policies (please note: this addition is currently in preview and will be officially introduced in the near future).

Devolutions Hub Business

  • New Validate and refresh the emergency key to restore access in case of any issues.

  • New View connected devices to stay on top of all user activity.

Devolutions Server

  • New Track and control all active privileged sessions from one easy-to-access location.

Devolutions Hub Business & Devolutions Server

  • New Automatically assign licenses to new users when they join a user group.

Devolutions PAM

  • New Configure PAM accounts without having to go through the checkout approval system (ideal for workflows where resets are scheduled overnight or handled manually!)

  • New Built-in PAM providers including Azure AD, on-prem AD, AWS IAM, and PostgreSQL in Devolutions Hub Business and Devolutions Server.

Devolutions Workspace

  • New Desktop workspace client for Linux (yes, it’s finally here!)

  • New Open web-based sessions using the Gateway directly in Workspace for fast admin tasks.
