Remote Desktop Manager Free 2019.1 is Here!

As you hopefully know, one of the guiding principles here at Devolutions is to help as many IT pros around the world control IT chaos. That’s why we are proud to continue improving Remote Desktop Manager Free with the release of version 2019.1!

What’s in Store

With this new release, there are now only a couple of differences between RDM Free and Enterprise. Remote Desktop Manager Free now offers the full experience of RDM for single users. On the other hand, RDM Enterprise offers team sharing and report options that are crucial for business users. Here’s a look at the features that are in RDM Enterprise, but ARE NOT in RDM Free:

  • Shared Database & Vaults
  • Role-Based Access Control
  • Two-Factor Authentication
  • Audits and Reports

Here’s what you can look forward to in Remote Desktop Manager Free 2019.1:

  • Credential Entries
  • Credential Links
  • Credential Inheritance
  • DropBox Data Source
  • Macro Script Tools
  • PlayList

RDM Free vs. RDM Enterprise

Remote Desktop Manager Free is a great tool for individual IT pros who need to remotely manage multiple machines and servers using multiple technologies. If you’re part of a team environment and need more sophisticated features such as security and user management, logs and reports, offline mode and more, then Remote Desktop Manager Enterprise is better suited for you.

How to Get It

  • If you want to give RDM Enterprise a try, we offer a 30-day free trial. After the trial period, you can purchase a license or downgrade to RDM Free and continue using it for as long as you wish. You can request a free trial here.

Free Means Free

We’re aware that some IT tools out there that are advertised as “free” aren’t really free. Maybe they’re free for a couple weeks or so. Or if you want to do anything useful, then you need to switch to the paid version. Or each time you log in you see a nag screen that bugs you to purchase the paid version. Well, you’ll be happy to know that we don’t do any of that. Remote Desktop Manager Free is 100% FREE, and you can use it for long as you wish without being constantly nagged to upgrade.
