Good morning everyone!

There are a few things in life you can count on: the turning of the earth, paying the price the morning after drinking too much beer, and of course, meeting a great new citizen of Devolutions Nation each Monday. And so, please allow me to introduce you to Jeremie Montour, our new Web Developer!

Jeremie is one of those guys that like computers and working out at the gym. It’s nice to see people with a wide range of hobbies, and it makes things more interesting when we chat at lunch.

Speaking of chatting, here’s a snapshot of a conversation I had with Jeremie shortly after he came on board:

Can you tell me a bit about your background?

I’ve been a software developer for a few years, and working on front-end development using HTML, CSS and Angular.

What would you say is your biggest achievement?

I would say my biggest accomplishment isn’t a single thing or event, but my commitment over the years to being more extroverted and social, and fitting into different teams. It has really helped me personally and professionally.

What was it about Devolutions that made you want to work here?

I’ve heard very good things about Devolutions, such as the excellent working environment, high standards of quality, great team, and the opportunity learn and grow.

What would you say are your top three strengths at work?

First, I adapt easily to new situations and challenges. Second, I am always focused on doing excellent work and ensuring that my code is efficient and clean. Third, I am a good team player and always try to help my colleagues.

What tasks do you carry out in your job, and what are some of the tools you use?

I’m currently working on the web front-end of Devolutions’ products, which use CSS, HTML, and Angular. As for tools, I mainly use WebStorm.

What is your impression of working here?

The team spirit is great, the projects are cool, and there is a strong desire to be innovative and constantly improve. They know how to mix hard work and fun.

What goals would you like to achieve at Devolutions?

I’d like to further my knowledge and expertise, and make significant contributions to our company’s growth and success.

On a personal note, what are some of your hobbies and interests?

I love sports like hockey and snowboarding. I’m also into high-intense workouts at the gym, which I do four times a week.
