Employee Spotlight: Linda Trudel, Janitress

Linda Trudel Devolutions Interview

Hello everyone,

A few weeks ago, I had the privilege of introducing you to Trycia Trudel: our great new Janitress who keeps our offices (inside and out) clean, organized, efficient and safe.

But did you know that before Trycia joined us, we had another amazing member of the Trudel family on our team? I’m referring to Trycia’s mom, Linda, who has been a key part of our building maintenance team for years.

Well, when Linda saw that Trycia was featured in our “New Employee Spotlight,” she wanted to be part of the fun as well. And so, without further delay, please allow me to introduce you to Linda Trudel!

Can you tell me a bit about your background?

I’ve been doing this job for a long time. I started with private residences, and through word of mouth I met Devolutions’ CEO David Hervieux. He offered me an amazing opportunity to be part of the Devolutions’ family!

What would you say is your biggest achievement so far?

Any time that I can make a positive difference in someone’s life – no matter how big or small – is an achievement!

What was it about Devolutions that made you want to work here?

I wanted to be part of a large team with people from different backgrounds, who are all motivated by their work and inspired to help those around them.

What would you say are your top three strengths at work?

I work quickly and efficiently, I work hard to make sure that everything is done well, and I am versatile.

What tasks do you carry out in your job, and what are some of the tools that you use?

My tasks change on a day-to-day basis, because in many ways a building is like a person — it is organic and not static. There are different priorities and challenges. In essence, my job is to ensure that everything is spotless and to maintain a work environment that is orderly, efficient, productive and clean.

What are your impressions about working here?

I feel lucky and privileged to be part of Devolutions’ team. David makes everyone feel important, and a key part of the organization. He doesn’t just talk about caring, he really cares!

On a personal note, what are some of your hobbies and interests?

I like to make things look pretty! I enjoy spending time gardening and decorating.

Hello there! My name is Derick St-Hilaire, and I’m the Salesforce Administrator here at Devolutions. I’m one of the more experienced employees here at Devolutions, and it has been amazing to see the company and community grow over the years. My primary responsibilities include managing our Salesforce platform, and working closely with our strategic partners and customers. I also oversee the management of Devolutions Force, which is our VIP Advocate Community. Academically, I have a bachelor’s degree in marketing. When I’m not working, I enjoy camping, walking my dog, playing video games, and I’m a huge movie fan — including the Star Wars franchise of course.
