Say Hello to Our New Administrative Assistant Laury Archambault!

Hello everyone! As you know, we’re constantly growing here and welcoming amazing new team members. Naturally, with this expansion comes more administration, bookkeeping, filing, paperwork, and other important tasks that keep us organized and on-track.

Today, I’m pleased to introduce you to our new administrative assistant Laury Archambault, who is friendly, focused, and most importantly, a real administrative hero! I recently had a chat with Laury to learn more about her experience and her new role here at Devolutions. Here’s a look at our conversation:

Can you tell me a bit about your professional background?

I’ve been working in various office administration roles since I was 16. My tasks and activities have included everything from bookkeeping and accounting to record keeping and communicating with customers and suppliers. I also worked as the managing director of a busy gas station, where my duties included tracking and maintaining inventory.

What would you say is your biggest professional achievement so far?

I’d have to say that my biggest achievement so far is joining the Devolutions team. I know there is a lot of competition to work here and I’m proud to be part of the team.

What was it about Devolutions that made you want to work here?

What attracted me the most was the team culture here, and how everyone works together and supports each other. It is also a very dynamic company and there is a lot of growth, so I’m sure I’ll learn a lot.

What would you say are your top three strengths at work?

I would say that I’m resourceful, and also very good with details -- which is important in administration and accounting. I’m also punctual because I hate to keep people waiting.

What tasks do you carry out in your job, and what are some of the tools you use?

Right now I’m focusing mostly on bookkeeping tasks, and supporting our administrative team. I’m also taking care of the editing and layout of many official Devolutions’ documents.

What are your impressions of working here?

I think that Devolutions is a friendly and dynamic place. I had high expectations when I started, and so far they have been exceeded!

What goals would you like to achieve at Devolutions?

I’d like to demonstrate to my new team that I’m reliable, productive and can help us achieve our goals and objectives. I also look forward to developing my skills and knowledge so that I can make an even bigger contribution in the months and years ahead.

On a personal note, what are some of your hobbies and interests?

I love to read books – especially fantasy novels. I’m also very musical and enjoy playing acoustic guitar. I’m actually taking classes and hope to become a great guitarist one day!

Greetings! My name is Joey Dupont, and I’m the Digital Marketing Specialist here at Devolutions. I have been here for several years, and am proud to be one of the most senior employees at this great company. I oversee many aspects of our digital marketing program, including email marketing, email automation, partnership relations, search engine marketing, and search engine optimization. I am also constantly learning new things about IT and online security. Academically, I have a bachelor’s degree in marketing.
