As you may recall, last month we asked you to share your favorite movie with us. The idea was inspired by our decision to rename our departments and conference rooms in honor of fictional movie legends. What? You’re saying Clark Griswold isn’t a legend? Can EVERYONE do something like this?
We had hoped to receive some great responses, and as usual you didn’t disappoint! Thank you to everyone who participated, and for taking a few minutes out of your busy days to have some fun with us (and speaking of fun, here’s a nice list of tech jokes I came across that will put a smile on your face).
Now that we’ve gone through the sneak previews and you’ve purchased your $10 bag of popcorn and $5 drink (talk about inflation!), here’s a look at some of your favorite movies:
- The Star Wars Movies (“This is the franchise that you’re looking for”)
- The Star Trek Movies (“Computer, lock phasers on target – fire!”)
- The Hunt for Red October (“One ping only please”)
- A Knight’s Tale (I have seen this so many times!)
- Forbidden Planet
- Sneakers (Great cast and tons of geeky references – what’s not to love?)
- The Shawshank Redemption
- Human Traffic
As for me, I must admit that I’ve seen Jumper way too many times. I know a lot of people hated it, but man I loved it!
No Winners This Month ?
Just kidding – APRIL FOOL’S! This month’s randomly selected winners of a $25 Thinkgeek.com gift certificate are Jonathan Pera and Cary Wagner! Thank you both for participating. Please email me at email@example.com to claim your prize.
And thank you to everyone who participated. Please stay tuned for the April poll, which will be posted tomorrow! We’ll be looking at something a little more serious: Privileged Access Management.
See you tomorrow!
