Today it’s my pleasure to introduce you to another new member of our amazing team!!!
I present you Christophe Boyer, Devolutions' new intern Network Administrator. To help you get to know Chris a bit better, I interviewed him a few days ago. My questions are in bold, followed by Christophe’s answers.
Can you tell me a bit about your background?
After working in agriculture for over 10 years, in early 2003, I moved to Canada from France. Currently, I’m finishing my degree as a Network Administrator, and part of that involves working here at Devolutions!
What are your initial impressions of working at Devolutions?
The communication here is great, and the overall vibe is relaxed – but not in a lazy way, it actually helps everyone be more productive. The CEO David is a big reason for this, and he goes out of his way to make sure everyone feels good, comfortable and part of the team. I’d say the overall culture here is excellent, and I’m really lucky to be working with such a great team of IT experts!
What does your job involve? What tools do you use?
Manage the Network Infrastructure, as well as a VOIP system and our Office365 subscription. Maintain our sizeable virtual machines pool so that the engineering department has access to all of the technologies that RDM integrates with.
What are some of your hobbies?
I love sports, especially hockey and rugby! I also used to play soccer in France. I also enjoy fishing, and I still play video games with my buddies in Europe.
What invention do you wish you had created?
Without a doubt, the invention I’d love to create is a teleportation machine! Can you imagine how cool it would be to play 3D video games from the inside?
Would you like to say something to our community?
The products are exceptional, and are developed by an amazing and competent team. You can count on us!
