What is the cost of the Standard Edition vs the Enterprise Edition?
Please note that when you download the Standard Edition of Remote Desktop Manager, you’ll be getting a FREE 30-day trial
of the Enterprise edition. After 30 days, you’ll have the option of purchasing a license and staying with the Enterprise edition, or downgrading to the Standard edition.
When does my license expire?
If you purchase Remote Desktop Manager Enterprise edition Enterprise edition, your license is perpetual and will therefore never expire. You’ll also get software maintenance including software upgrades (new versions), security updates and basic support (please see the “Software Maintenance Plan” and “Support” sections below for more details).
If you purchase Devolutions Online Database (DODB) or Devolutions Server (DVLS), your license is subscription-based, and will expire in either 1 year or 3 years, depending on your choice. At the end of your subscription period, you’ll be asked to renew your subscription.
Please note that you need Remote Desktop Manager Enterprise to access both RDMO and RDMS. Remote Desktop Manager Enterprise is included with RDMS, and sold separately with RDMO.
What is included with the software maintenance?
When you purchase an Enterprise license for any product – RDM, RDMO or RDMS – you’ll receive either 1 or 3 years of software maintenance, depending on the plan you choose. This means that you’ll be able to download all new versions including software upgrades, security updates, bug fixes, new features (did you know that you can request a new feature on our forum?), as well as both minor and major improvements to overall functionality. We usually launch 4 - 6 minor releases and 2 - 3 major releases each year.
What support plans do you offer?
We also offer 3 different support plans: Basic, Extended and Premium.
Basic support is included in your software maintenance plan and is offered at no extra charge.
Extended support gives you email access to our support and development team, and priority response times (within 24 hours).
Premium support gives you email and phone access to our support and development team, and priority response times (within 4 hours). You’ll also get emergency fix support.
Please note that the Extended and Premium support plans also include the RDM Custom Installer, which allows you to easily generate and download custom RDM installations.
