A few weeks ago, the folks at LogMeIn announced that LogMeIn’s Desktop Shortcut feature would only be available with the Pro version. Unfortunately, that wasn't great news for those using LogMeIn Free on multiple machines. And so, we started wondering if there might be a better way for Remote Desktop Manager to support LogMeIn auto-login. Well, guess what? Our wondering turned into programming (as it often does), and today we’re proud to announce that we now have a fully automated solution for connecting to a machine via LogMeIn Free or LogMeIn Pro. Configuring the session is as simple as setting-up a LogMeIn Desktop Shortcut session. Just copy the machine URL from the LogMeIn portal into Remote Desktop Manager, and then set the username and password. That’s all there is to it! View the screenshots below for added assistance. You can also find more details here. We hope that you find this helpful. If you’d like us to wonder about other ways we can improve and simplify your life, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
