January Poll: It's resolution time!

Happy New Year everyone!

It’s that time of the year where we all look back at 2012, and ask ourselves what we can improve upon in the year ahead. What are your resolutions and top priorities for 2013?

Perhaps they’ll be security-related. Indeed, we know that security will continue to be a BIG challenge across the world in 2013, and we’re likely to see more BYOD policies.

Or maybe your resolution is cost and revenue related? That’s probably a good idea, given that organizations in 2013 will look to become even leaner and more efficient at tracking expenses and revenues.

Let us and our community know what you’re promising to achieve in 2013. And who knows? Maybe you’ll inspire us to create a new add-on, feature or maybe even a whole new product to help you fulfill that promise!

And to help get your year off started in the right direction, we’ll be giving away four $25 Amazon.com gift cards to randomly-selected people who share their resolutions.

So what are you waiting for? Please tell us what’s on your mind by commenting below, or by sending me an email mtrottier@devolutions.net.

Thanks!

  1. In 2013 we are looking to make our Private Cloud offerings available to the public though automation, we are developing solutions in house and integrating them together to make new product offerings that we expect to see a real need for in some, less technical industries!

    1. There's definitely a market for this kind of solution. I'm thinking about tools like LogMeIn and Teamviewer who were once tech-savvy only solutions but are now used by a wide range of users.

    1. Congratulations Németh! :) Maybe you could use your Amazon.com gift certificate you won last month to get him a new story book!

  3. I've decided no more "new year resolutions". The average person fails/gives up on a resolution within 14-30 days. So, I've made New Year Commitments!!! Much harder to give up on those.

  4. My resolution is to automate my work. Every position I have held I have tried to put myself out of a job by automating all of my daily tasks. I was fairly successful in my last 2 positions and it gave me more opportunity and better jobs. I am now comfortable in my new position and it's time to start automating my work so that I can do other things.
